Introduction: Celebrating "Mothers"

I am a mother. I have a mother. A "mother-in-love" have I also. Special "Mothers" lace my life, as well.

Just last week, a close friend and I discussed motherhood. "Powerful," she described it. "I cannot think of a more influential role than a mother."

May is the month we celebrate "Mother's Day." I hope you'll join me here at Today's Lady Virtue (TLV) as we explore various perspectives on "mothers." Tell your friends, too!

You won't want to miss hearing additional thoughts from some of my bloggy-friends. I've invited some of them to share encouragement for "mothers" here on TLV!

At the close of March, I had the opportunity to guest blog for Carla Williams/The Spiritual Mom. Today I'd love it if you'd read my post, "Are You a "Mother?" There you'll find a poem I wrote about "mothers" and discover some jewels from God's word on the subject.

He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”
